Americana Couture Invited To Participate In Sixth Annual Super Saturday Fundraiser to Benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF)

Americana Couture has been invited to participate in the sixth annual Super Saturday on Saturday, July 26, 2003. The day-long charity event to benefit the OCRF, will take place at the Nova's Ark Project at Water Mill in the Hamptons, New York. The event will be hosted by Donna Karan and InStyle magazine.

Americana Couture will partake in the fundraiser's signature, one-of-a kind "designer garage sale". Along with a variety of other designers who will have booths at the event, Americana Couture will be selling merchandise reduced to 30-50% off retail, with all proceeds going to the OCRF.

Americana Couture is extremely honored to participate in an event like Super Saturday that continues to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund - an organization that is making significant strides in fighting ovarian cancer.

Conceived in 1998 by the late President of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Liz Tilberis and Donna Karan, Super Saturday to date has raised over $1.5 million dollars.

Activities will include a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, a kids carnival with rides, games and fun, a live auction and raffle, and live entertainment. Food and refreshments are provided all day, with an informal seated lunch in the afternoon and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the early evening.

Past celebrity hosts and supporters have included; Kate Capshaw, Edie Falco, Kyle McLachlan, Angie Harmon, Christie Brinkley, Donald Trump, Frederick Fekkai, and Stephanie Seymour.

Designers on hand for this star studded event will be Adrienne Landau, Anthropologie, Americana Couture, Banana Republic, BCBG, Max Azria, Betsey Johnson, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Carmen Marc Valvo, Celine, Catherine Malandrino, Chloe, Coach, Cole Haan, Diane Von Furstenberg, Diesel, Donald Pliner, GAP, Whiting & Davis, Jimmy Choo, John Varvados, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Kenneth Cole, La Perla, Luca Luca, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Nanette Lapore, Nick & Nora, Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sean John, Shoshana, Theory, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, and Vivienne Tam.
