This is a letter of thanks and wishes for continued success: for creating a beautiful product and for fighting those jealous internet sabateurs! I first learned of Americana Couture when I received a gift certificate for them in a goody bag at a fashion show. Upon visiting their website, I was like a kid in a candy store! I have since ordered 14 t-shirts, including the beautiful Mona Lisa t, the Olbinski Tulip Dress t, Crown Jewels/Punk Tiara, etc., etc.

Despite all the problems Americana Couture has had during the past year, its has still mananged to take care of its customers. Even though I had to wait for status updates, Maryanne was able to keep me posted on my orders. I am glad I waited, because the t-shirts are beautiful.

Thanks again for my beautiful t-shirts! Americana Couture is the original when it comes to Swarovski crystal studded clothing! Accept no imitators!

Here is the story:

On Friday, March 19th, in front of about 1000 people in Jackson, Mississippi, I was called to the stage at the Sweet Potato Queen Ball by The Sweet Potato Queen Herself, Jill Conner Browne, author of the world-renowned "Sweet Potato Queens" books. I did as I was told, of course, and hurried on up to center stage. Jill then told the crowd that they had something special for me, and gestured for me to turn around. (Note: In this split second, before turning around, I thought that the People From Kraft were here to give me a lifetime supply of Miracle Whip, due to my insistence on using that awful mess in my Heaven on a Cracker recipe on pages 70-71 of Jill's third book, which was #1 on the NY Times Best Seller List, by the way.

Coincidence? I think not. But I digress...) Well, unbeknownst to me, Brian had stepped out on stage while my back was turned. So, when I turned around, expecting to greet the grateful Kraft Rep, but saw him standing there grinning, I absolutely lost it. Ugly Cry Face took over, as he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes. And while I had a captive audience, I yelled 'I LOVE THIS MAN' into the microphone, since that woman on the commercials only whispers it, and that bugs me. She doesn't love him. Anyway, he had the ring and everything, and I am typing while staring at it.

With the help of my my mom and about 100 of my Sweet Potato Queen friends, Brian was able to sneak into town around noon and remain hidden for about eight hours until the Ball. He stayed until the next afternoon, so he got to see the parade and visit with my friends. Then he left me to my Queen Time and came back home Saturday night. I still cannot believe they pulled this off!

I am the Happiest, Luckiest Girl in the Whole Wide World, and it was the best day of my life.

And the night I wore the DJ Groupie shirt out to the Deep Dish party at Spin, Alex Gold (of Extravaganza, resident DJ of Space Ibiza) had his photographer with him, and he took about a dozen photos of us.... I want to thank you and your staff so much for the excellent job you did on my "Custom made Colin Tee Shirt". It looked awesome and Colin *LOVED* it. He asked if the crystals were real and I lifted up the tee to show him that they were studded into the tee and not one of the cheap & nasty "stick on" things.

The tee arrived in Vancouver in time for me to wear it to the STARGATE SG-1 convention that I was attending (where Colin was a celebrity guest). Thank you so much for getting it re-directed from being sent to my home in Australia to having it sent to my Hotel in Vancouver, CANADA.
